Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.
As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges.
- Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery
- Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects
A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship) is required, along with proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production. A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset are essential. Familiarity with SAP systems is desirable.
Salary: £51,623 including shift allowance. Matched pension contributions up to 10%. Life assurance 6x your salary. 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 am - 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights).
