Kingston Barnes are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Exeter! The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all the electrical equipment at the Plant, providing support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills. The Electrical Technician will assist in the co-ordination of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant.
  • Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors.
  • Carry out fault investigation, diagnosis and rectification as required.
  • Be pro-active and creative in problem solving and initiative.
  • Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
Requirements
  • Experience of electrical maintenance/installation/engineering within either process industries, power plants or other heavy engineering environments essential.
  • Experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.
  • Possess appropriate relevant trade technical qualifications such as either City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC/ONC/HNC (or equivalents) essential.
Hours/Benefits
  • Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • 1 in 4 call out - Paid additionally
  • Salary circa £51,000 per year
  • Annual bonus scheme
