Kingston Barnes are recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our client in the manufacturing sector. Working within the manufacturing sector, this role will expect you to provide preventative maintenance and mechanical service and support to the site, ensuring continuous improvement in the standards of mechanical engineering, health and safety and environmental performance, such that set business objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Reactive maintenance on Electrical equipment
- PPM's
- PLC Fault finding
- Three phase motors, control panels, inverters, reading schematic diagrams
- Working with high voltage (Training provided)
Requirements:
- You will have a sound knowledge of Electrical engineering principles
- You should possess a formal technical qualification in Electrical Craft i.e. NVQ Level 3 / C&G Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
- General knowledge of industrial plant and process equipment is essential
- HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering is desirable
Hours: Four on four off (D/N) 18 day break included every few rotations
Salary: £52,800 +
