Kingston Barnes is exclusively supporting a multidisciplinary construction consultancy that has secured a major long term framework delivering multiple high profile projects across Bristol and the South West. With a secure pipeline of major projects already underway, the business is now looking to appoint an ambitious Project Manager to support the delivery of complex new build schemes across a variety of sectors including advanced manufacturing, commercial, industrial and innovation led environments.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction consultancy Project Manager looking to step into larger projects, broaden their experience and progress their career within a growing and highly respected business.

The Role

You will support the delivery of multiple construction projects from pre construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects through all RIBA stages
  • Supporting client and stakeholder management
  • Programme and risk management
  • Chairing meetings and producing reports
  • Monitoring project progress, costs and delivery
  • Coordinating consultants and contractors
  • Supporting successful project outcomes from inception to handover

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience working for a construction consultancy as a Project Manager
  • Experience delivering new build construction projects
  • Strong client facing and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach
  • Degree qualified within a construction related discipline preferred
  • MRICS/APM/MCIOB or working towards beneficial but not essential
