Are you a nurse whose NMC registration has lapsed? Do you miss working as a nurse and caring for patients? There has never been a better time for you to get back to nursing. Together with our partners Kingston University and City University, we can help you to return to the nursing profession. At Kingston Hospital, we offer a variety of placement opportunities for previously Registered Adult and Child branch nurses who would like to undertake a Return to Practice nursing course and then resume their career as a Band 5 nurse.
We currently offer the Voluntary (unpaid contract) route. University fees are paid by Health Education England and a bursary of £1000 is provided to students undergoing the voluntary route to assist with course related expenses. Candidates will be required to complete from 22.5 hours up to full time hours per week and attend up to 10 study days at the university. If you successfully obtain your NMC registration, then you will be guaranteed an interview for a band 5 position.
A training post with a placement in a clinical area to allow completion of the return to practice programme for renewal of lapsed NMC Registration.
