Salaried GP required to cover maternity, based in a very busy surgery with a list size of 6500 patients and still growing. Very proactive friendly team, always on hand to support. Long standing members of staff here at the surgery. Recruitment due to GP going on maternity leave in August.
Main duties of the job:
- Ensuring QOF and other requirements are completed during patient consultations
- To work autonomously
- Providing up to date care plans for patients
- Prescribing in line with guidance
- Audits / projects as required
About us:
Currently one GP Partner with a Practice Manager and 2 salaried GPs. One FT Paramedic, 2 practice nurses and 1 HCA. KCS are lucky enough to have an amazing team to work alongside. There are a number of staff who have been employed here for 25 years plus with a majority of others being here for more than 10 years plus. Great opportunity available for the right candidate.
Job responsibilities:
To work as an autonomous practitioner, to support the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective running of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
