As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be working as part of the maintenance team reacting to and resolving day to day issues. You will be working closely with other departments and production lines to identify improvements to plant reliability, safety and product quality. The role demands a high level of fault finding on both electrical and mechanical applications. Your working pattern will be: Sunday to Friday morning 21:45 – 06:00.

Responsibilities of our Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- You will have a high degree of processes and machinery skills, knowledge and ability.
- You will be fully trained and be able to operate machinery and equipment to the required standards.
- You will work in accordance with all information, instruction, training and supervision, setting up machinery in preparation for production operations and periodically test the operation of machine safety features.
- You will be completing planned and preventative maintenance schedules ensuring the results are clearly recorded and validated.
- This includes but is not limited to:
- Completing routines and works orders including recording parts used and time taken to build an accurate plant history.
- Review of maintenance routines to ensure best use of resources.
- Storing and recording of maintenance routines.
- Recording of plant breakdowns or work requests to build an accurate plant history.
- Providing simple easy access to associated procedures, drawings and manuals.
- On-going development and improvement of maintenance workshop.
What we are looking for in our Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- You will have:
- Time served qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proof of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Previous experience working for maintenance in a factory/ manufacturing process environment
- Experience of fault finding in both electrical and mechanical applications
- Able to follow instruction and production schedules
- Flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be
- Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude”
- Able to act quickly when problems arise
- Full driving licence
- Wiring regulations
- Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel
