We are looking for a dedicated and reliable experienced Forklift Driver/ Yard Loader to join our team at the Gilford Road site. In this role, you will be responsible for loading oil tanks and plastic products onto trailers for delivery to customers and intercompany transfers. You will ensure all products are handled with care, maintain high standards of safety, and support the smooth running of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and load orders onto transport trailers, ensuring all products match the load sheets.
- Inspect products before loading, ensuring they are in good condition and moving any damaged stock to the designated holding area.
- Promote and follow health and safety procedures to ensure all operations are carried out safely.
- Liaise with the logistics office to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Assist in offloading inbound trailers for ES Finished Goods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in line with housekeeping standards.
- Promote high standards of compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Forklift licence.
- Committed to maintaining precision in documentation, inventory handling, and process adherence.
- Proven ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in picking orders.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse or factory setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments such as logistics office and drivers.
