At Kingspan Klargester, we’re on the lookout for passionate individuals who bring a blend of practical expertise and a drive for innovation to join our team as a Production Operative on the late shift 2 pm to 12 am. If you’ve honed your skills in building management, labouring, or manufacturing, and have a knack for working with hand tools, this role is your chance to shine. You’ll be crafting high-quality products that make a difference, from water treatment tanks to advanced sustainable solutions, all while collaborating with a team that values integrity, accountability, and innovation.
What You Will Do
- Manufacture specialty equipment: produce water treatment tanks, pump stations, separators, and explore new product assemblies.
- Precision workmanship: follow technical drawings for component and finished-goods assembly, involving cutting, drilling, laminating, and steel fabrication.
- Maintain standards: uphold top-notch cleanliness, safety, and efficiency standards in all operations.
- Team values: embody our core principles of integrity, accountability, innovation, teamwork, and courage.
What we are looking for
- Experience within a fast-moving manufacturing environment operating heavy machinery.
- Practical knowledge of assembly techniques consistent with the company product range.
- Experience in using hand tools including drills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to accurately measure and document production activities.
- Mature attitude to work which encompasses health & safety, quality.
- Thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Effective time management.
- Previous forklift training (desirable).
- Driver’s license: a full clean UK driving license.
