About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced HR / Employee Relations Manager to support our UK & Ireland operations. This 12-month fixed-term contract is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, people-focused organisation committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

The Role: Reporting to the Divisional HR Director, you will play a key role within a high-performing HR team, providing strategic and operational HR support across our UK & Ireland sites. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading on all employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals
  • Building and maintaining strong union relationships, including participation in negotiation and consultation meetings
  • Providing expert advisory support on HR policy, performance management, and absence management
  • Coaching and developing managers to enhance leadership capability
  • Supporting recruitment and interview processes when required
  • Ensuring HR compliance and supporting internal and external audits
  • Producing and analysing weekly and monthly HR reports, KPIs, and trend data

About You: We are seeking an HR professional with the capability, confidence, and leadership experience to support a complex, fast-paced environment. You will ideally have:

  • A degree or third-level qualification
  • CIPD qualification
  • Strong experience leading or managing an HR function with a focus on employee relations
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases to resolution
  • Solid knowledge of UK & Ireland employment law
  • Experience working within a unionised manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication
