Data Center Customer Service Executive to become a key member of our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working in a fast-paced environment.
You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service while coordinating with operational, engineering and logistics teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Account Support
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, requests, incidents and escalations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and service delivery.
- Manage customer requests and ensure they are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Provide regular updates and communications to customers regarding incidents, requests and maintenance activities.
- Incident & Service Management
- Manage service tickets from creation through to resolution.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Escalate critical matters where necessary while maintaining effective stakeholder communication.
- Ensure all customer interactions and support activities are accurately recorded.
- Operational Coordination
- Coordinate customer access requirements and visitor management procedures.
- Support Remote Hands and Smart Hands service requests.
- Assist with service provisioning, equipment deliveries, rack installations and decommissioning activities.
- Support change management communications and customer notifications.
- Reporting & Performance
- Monitor performance against customer SLAs and contractual commitments.
- Produce service reports and operational updates.
- Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support customer review meetings and service governance activities.
- Compliance & Security
- Follow all data centre security procedures and access control requirements.
- Support compliance with relevant standards including ISO 27001, SOC and PCI-DSS.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information at all times.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service, service desk, customer support or customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within a data centre, IT infrastructure, telecoms or technical services environment.
- Understanding of service management processes and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of data centre infrastructure including power, cooling and networking environments.
- Experience using Power BI, MS Project or similar reporting tools.
- German, French or Nordic language skills.
- Sales or customer-facing commercial experience.
Qualifications
- Degree or higher-level qualification in a technical, engineering, business or project management discipline is desirable.
