We are looking for a Production Operative to work permanent nights, 39 hours per week Sunday to Thursday morning on our state‑of‑the‑art Manufacturing line. You will receive a competitive salary of £13.21 per hour + 35% night shift allowance.
Current Shift pattern:
- Sunday 22:45 – 06:00
- Monday – Wednesday 21:45 - 06:00
Your responsibilities as a Production Operative will include running our production processes efficiently, ensuring safety, quality, quantity, cost, and time all meet operational standards, reducing waste and downtime, and supporting the development and improvement of all production processes.
Key Skills:
- Experience of working within a fast-paced production environment
- A sound understanding of Health and Safety practices
- A methodical approach to product quality and machinery care
- Analytical and mechanical capabilities are advantageous but not essential
- Good communication skills are essential
- Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude”
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Microsoft Office
- Capability to operate machinery using touch screen panels (HMI)
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong at fault finding and problem solving
