Overview of the Maintenance Electrician Role:

You will be working 42 hours per week on a 4‑week rota.

  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 17:30.
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 17:30.
  • Week 3: Thursday to Sunday 07:00 – 17:30.
  • Week 4: Tuesday to Friday 07:00 – 17:30.

You must be a qualified electrician, holding a Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds 2365 in electrical engineering, and a 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulation certificate.

You will focus on electrical installation and project work on the production lines, so experience of electrical installation 240 V and 415 V 3‑phase is essential. You will also need to work from drawings, understand LOTO (safe isolation and testing), and be IPATH qualified cherry picker (WAH).

You may need to accompany engineers on breakdowns in a support capacity. Knowledge and experience of planned maintenance routines of lines in downtime would be beneficial.
