We are looking for an Internal Sales Account Manager to join the Sales team. The position is based at our Pembridge site in Herefordshire. This is a full time role working 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
As an Internal Sales Account Manager (Sales Administrator) you will cover your own geographical area, handle sales calls/enquiries from distribution, builders merchants, contractors and architects and work as part of a team to maximise your area’s order intake figures. You will also provide support to Area Sales Managers who cover our Roofing and Structural products and assist with all other customer enquiries.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Handling and pricing sales enquiries using CRM.
- Liaising with Area Sales Managers.
- Offering excellent levels of customer service, achieving customers’ needs, whilst being aware of costs and all other implications.
- Undertaking stock checks on SAP.
- Liaising with planning to provide accurate delivery dates for stocked and non-stocked items.
- Processing and checking all orders scheduled within your area.
- Helping to meet daily budgets for your own geographical area.
- Communicating with transport, ensuring that the customer receives the order on time and in full.
- Efficiently processing complaints, returns and credit requests.
- Confirming quotations in writing via CRM.
- Ensuring that CRM is updated as and when required.
- Rectifying loading, administration and any other issues that occur.
Skills and Experience required
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational Skills
- Strong workload prioritisation skills and ability to work under pressure
Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial to have:
- Experience in the use of SAP
- Experience within a similar role
- Experience of insulation Industry, building industry or roofing trade
