Are you looking to begin a career in Finance? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as a Costing Analyst Apprentice.
What You’ll Learn
- Production reporting and data analysis
- Financial reconciliations and journal postings
- Inventory and stock control processes
- Month end accounting procedures
- Variance analysis and financial reporting
- Audit support and compliance processes
- Working with finance systems and business data
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Costing & Production Recording Team with reporting, analysis, and spreadsheet preparation.
- Support the preparation of costing analysis for Sales, Finance, Production, and Technical teams.
- Help create and maintain Bills of Materials and update standard costs across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
- Support inventory audits and stock checks across UK sites.
- Learn and support production finance processes and reporting requirements.
- Assist with the administration and auditing of the Change Management System.
- Contribute to finance projects aimed at improving processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Build relationships with colleagues across Finance, Production, Logistics, and other business functions.
