We are looking for a Structural Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland, ideally based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire, or Dundee areas. As the Structural Area Sales Manager, you will build on business relationships through customer communications, maximise favourable exposure of the company and its services, and drive sales of all brands within Kingspan Insulation’s product range. You will be accountable for developing relationships with sub-contractors, distribution and builders merchants and working closely with other team members to manage projects and opportunities through the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Identification of all customers/potential customers, markets and product applications within area of ownership.
- Initiate, develop and manage sales activities within the geographical area to support business objectives.
- Customer communication to maximise business relationships and ensure maximum favourable exposure of the company, its products and services.
- Maximising conversion to order as a result of proactive response to project management, customer contact, enquiries, tenders and requests to quote.
- Feeding-back marketing information concerning competition, customers etc. with respect to project specifications, pricing, distribution, and delivery.
- Providing customers with professional technical advice and support, services, site visits and training to develop augmented product and improve market share.
- Formulation of area sales strategy and annual business plans.
- Defending specifications.
- Undertaking CPD presentations at contractors and distributors.
What we are looking for:
- Proven Sales and Account Development experience.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
- Proven ability to exceed targets.
- Good team player with an out-going, adaptable personality.
- Full UK driving license.
- Able to travel and work away from home.
- Presentation skills.
- Reside in Scotland (ideally in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire, or Dundee areas).
- Good level of education.
Desirable:
- Experience within a similar background; ideally familiar with selling into or within the construction industry.
- Experience with the insulation industry and building regulations.
