Overview
Maths Cover Teacher - Secondary Schools – Location: Stockport. Pay: £140 - £220 per day (dependent on experience).
Simply Education is currently recruiting confident and reliable Maths Cover Teachers to work in secondary schools across Stockport. Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Support students with their learning where required
- Take accurate registers and provide clear handover notes for teaching staff
Requirements
- Experience teaching or covering Maths in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Maths
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Right to Work in the UK
