Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible and rewarding work in local secondary schools? Simply Education is currently recruiting confident and passionate Cover Supervisors to work across Stockport, supporting schools on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis.
Salary: £120 - £150 per day
Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons and keeping students on task
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a calm, focused learning environment
- Supporting students with their work where required
- Taking accurate registers and providing clear handover notes for teaching staff
- Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a UK secondary school
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour positively and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
- Sufficient references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply), and Right to Work in the UK
