The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting the Nursery Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the setting while maintaining high standards of care, education, and safeguarding.
The Role
- Support the Nursery Manager in the overall leadership and management of the nursery
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence
- Lead, inspire, and support staff to deliver outstanding early years provision
- Ensure the nursery meets all EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Has previous experience within a nursery setting
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Is confident, organised, and passionate about early years education
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills
