The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting the Nursery Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the setting while maintaining high standards of care, education, and safeguarding.

The Role

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall leadership and management of the nursery
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence
  • Lead, inspire, and support staff to deliver outstanding early years provision
  • Ensure the nursery meets all EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Has previous experience within a nursery setting
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Is confident, organised, and passionate about early years education
  • Has excellent communication and leadership skills
