At Kingspan, we’re on a mission to change how the world builds. We make high-performance insulation and building tech, driven by our Planet Passionate vision - a massive 10-year goal to tackle climate change, reduce waste, and build a greener future. Behind world-class products are great people, and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for a sharp, organised, and people-focused HR Administrator to join our Holywell team.If you love variety, thrive on getting things done, and want to build a real career in HR, this is your sign!
What’s the role all about?
No two days are the same here. As our HR Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of the department, supporting our people across the UK & Ireland from their very first day through every milestone.
Working closely with our HR Manager, you’ll get hands-on experience across the entire employee lifecycle:
- Helping post job adverts, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, sending offer packs, and leading awesome Day 1 site inductions.
- Keeping our HR database pristine, updating contracts, and extracting data reports for audits and board meetings.
- Answering day-to-day employee and manager queries, managing the HR inbox, and stepping into formal meetings to take notes.
- Handling leaver processes, calculating annual leave, and organising exit chats to help us keep improving.
Who are you?
You don’t need 10 years of experience, but you do need energy, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for people.
Ideally, you bring:
- At least a year under your belt in a generalist HR admin role (or a super-relevant administrative role).
- You're confident with MS Office - especially Excel - and don't get spooked by HR databases.
- High discretion, strong written skills, and the resilience to prioritise when the day gets busy.
- CIPD qualifications (or working towards them) or experience in a unionised environment are a lovely plus, but not a dealbreaker!
Why you’ll love working with us:
- We love seeing our team grow and move within Kingspan - in fact, this role is open because our current HR Admin has just taken on an exciting new role elsewhere in the business!
- We work hard, look out for one another, and operate on an equal-opportunity brew round policy (yes, the HR Manager makes their fair share too!).
- Competitive salary, company pension scheme, employee assistance programme, and generous holiday allowance, free on-site parking, superb career development opportunities – and the opportunity to work with one of the best HR teams out there!
