We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a high standard of care. This role is vital in promoting the well-being and comfort of our patients, while also working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
  • Assisting residents at meal times as required, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients
  • Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in IT systems relevant to patient care
