About the Role:

We are seeking an electrician to join our in-house Mechanical and Electrical team in a full time role 40 hours per week, working in a 40 mile radius of Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

The Electrician has responsibility for carrying out electrical installations in their entirety, from system design, through to installation, inspection, testing and commissioning. The role will also require the installation of network infrastructure, control cabling, AV systems, HVAC and smart home equipment. Limited electrical installation condition reports will be carried out. The electrician may also be required to oversee apprentices and assistants working with him on those installations. Some customer liaison will be required.

About You:

·City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / AM1 / AM2 or equivalent qualifications.

·Level 3 Electrical Qualification .

·18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

·Proven experience working in electrical installation.

·Strong understanding of statutory compliance.

·Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

·UK Driving license required

·High Standard of work

·Commitment, integrity and positive attitude

·Prior knowledge & experience with alarm systems, EV charging, smart home installations and the like will be very welcome

Kingsmen Construction are a main contractor established in 1981 and based in Reading, Berkshire. Kingsmen work mainly in the mid to high end domestic sector with occasional jobs in the commercial environment. We undertake, extensions, refurbishments and new build projects. Most projects are driven by a client-employed design team but some design & build contracts are also carried out. The M&E team take on small works over and above our main contracts. These will sometimes be for historic clients, local charities or other associations. Kingsmen are a Loxone partner and deliver smart home solutions
