A rare opportunity to build, lead and scale a brand-new Marine & Coastal Infrastructure team within a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy. This is a big mandate with national reach, full autonomy, and the backing of an established business that is investing heavily in its coastal and maritime capability. What you will do:
- Help build a new team β recruitment, strategy, delivery, P&L and growth
- Lead and win work across ports, harbours, coastal defence, flood resilience, offshore support and maritime infrastructure
- Oversee delivery across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Mentor and guide senior PMs and engineers, building a collaborative, high-performing team
- Act as a trusted adviser at board and executive level, deepening relationships and driving repeat business
- Shape market positioning, bids, frameworks and long-term strategic growth
- Champion innovation, sustainability and resilience across coastal and marine programmes
Must-haves (please read before applying):
- Proven UK delivery of marine/coastal infrastructure projects (ports, harbours, coastal defence, flood resilience, maritime infrastructure)
- Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, with accountability for P&L, growth and delivery excellence
- Demonstrable business development success β bids, frameworks, market positioning, key accounts
- Strong technical credibility across marine/coastal engineering, construction delivery and asset resilience
- Degree in engineering, project management or a related discipline
- Chartered status preferred (CEng / ICE / ChPP / APM / MRICS or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel across UK coastal locations as project demands require
