An established and growing property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its Liverpool office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager with around 3–5 years' experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across a diverse range of projects while developing their career within a supportive and highly regarded consultancy environment.
Working alongside experienced senior professionals, you will gain responsibility for managing projects from inception through to completion, building strong client relationships and developing your commercial and technical expertise along the way.
The Role
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across a variety of sectors, supporting and leading commissions through all stages of the project lifecycle. This is a client-facing position offering genuine responsibility, variety and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously across their full lifecycle
- Managing project programmes, budgets and risk registers
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams
- Supporting procurement activities and tender processes
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to clients and stakeholders
- Assisting with contract administration duties, including JCT contracts
- Attending client meetings, site visits and project reviews
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and project teams
- Supporting senior colleagues in the successful delivery of larger and more complex projects
About You
We are keen to speak with Project Managers who have gained experience within a construction consultancy, client-side organisation or contractor environment. Experience across sectors such as education, retail, aviation, commercial or hospitality would be advantageous, although candidates from other project backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Approximately 3–5 years' project management experience within the built environment
- A strong understanding of project delivery processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Progress towards, or interest in pursuing, professional accreditation such as APM, RICS or equivalent
