Are you a qualified surveyor looking to grow your career in real estate valuations within a large professional services firm? This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist valuations team inside a global consultancy, working across a diverse portfolio of assets while enjoying the backing and resources of a major organisation.
The role focuses primarily on reviewing and assessing third-party RICS valuations for audit and financial reporting purposes. The work is broad in nature, covering traditional and alternative property classes including offices, retail, infrastructure, and care homes.
The Role
As a Valuations Manager, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for departmental queries, managing the valuations inbox and workflow.
- Assist Managers and Directors on RICS Red Book valuations for financial reporting.
- Research, analyse and present property data using industry databases.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants.
- Prepare valuation reports for audit teams.
- Attend client and internal meetings, contributing to discussions and reporting.
About You
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- RICS qualification (AssocRICS or MRICS).
- A strong interest in real estate and the RICS Red Book.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Strong IT skills including Excel, with knowledge of Argus Enterprise preferred.
- Confidence working both independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
It would also be an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience in valuations or a related real estate role.
- A relevant degree or master’s qualification.
- Experience in a professional services environment.
