We're working with an ambitious and rapidly growing consultancy in Shropshire that is making waves across the construction and infrastructure sectors. They are now looking to appoint an Associate or Associate Director to help shape the next phase of their growth.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to service projects and manage spreadsheets. They're looking for a leader, a relationship builder, and a work winner. Someone who enjoys developing clients, mentoring people, and helping create a business that others want to be part of.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in leading and growing the Quantity Surveying function, working closely with senior leadership on a diverse portfolio of major projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading commissions from inception through to completion
  • Managing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors
  • Building and strengthening client relationships
  • Winning new work and identifying growth opportunities
  • Supporting business strategy and operational growth
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on commercial matters

About You

You could currently be operating at Associate level and ready for a bigger platform, or already established as an Associate Director seeking a more entrepreneurial environment. You will have:

  • A consultancy and/or contractor background
  • Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven ability to generate work and build relationships
  • Commercial awareness and a growth mindset
  • MRICS status (desirable but not essential)

Why This Role?

Because opportunities like this don't come along very often. You'll join a business where decisions happen quickly, ideas are welcomed, and success is genuinely rewarded. You'll have the freedom to influence strategy, build a team around you, and work on projects that many larger consultancies would be proud to have on their books.

If you're excited by growth, motivated by opportunity, and want to be part of building something special rather than simply maintaining the status quo, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, with an attractive package and genuine long-term progression prospects.
