Our client specialises in asset and development management of commercial and mixed-use real estate, with its' own in-house management team.

The company has particular expertise in restoring and sustainably developing heritage buildings, with an expanding commercial portfolio that currently extends across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.

Role Description

A Senior Facilities Manager is required, based within Manchester city centre, to manage the day-to-day operations of a highly recognised and expanding commercial and mixed-use properties, and ensure that they are not only well-maintained but also compliant with health & safety, and environmental standards.

The role includes, but is not limited to co-ordinating and overseeing

  • building maintenance
  • contractors
  • budgets, and
  • efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • Facilities Management experience, minimum 5 years+
  • Relevant professional certifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH essential.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Compliance
  • Knowledge of ESG Requirements, Green Building Certifications, NABERS, BREEAM etc
  • Experience of service charge budgets, financial management, and contractor relations
  • Organisational and interpersonal communication skills
  • High levels of attention to detail with M&E knowledge
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work under minimal supervision with tight deadlines
  • Experience in managing heritage and mixed-use properties is a strong advantage
