We’re partnering with a leading UK construction consultancy to appoint a Director of Project Management to join their Nottingham office . With an established team already delivering across major programmes in the industrial, defence, manufacturing , and local authority sectors, this appointment is part of a broader growth strategy for the East Midlands region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior professional to take a leading role within a well-respected consultancy—bringing their own relationships, ideas, and commercial insight to help shape the next chapter.
The Opportunity
You’ll join an experienced leadership team and play a critical role in:
- Leading the delivery of complex, multi-sector projects across the region
- Growing the Project Management offer, both in capability and reach
- Strengthening relationships with existing key clients
- Developing new business opportunities and supporting regional strategic growth
- Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level talent
This role will suit someone who is highly visible and well-regarded within the local market, with the confidence and credibility to operate at Director level.
Your Background
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong track record of Project Management within a consultancy environment
- Brings established client relationships and a clear network across the East Midlands
- Has experience in sectors such as manufacturing, defence, local authority, or industrial
- Demonstrates leadership, commercial awareness, and business development capabilities
- Is currently working at Associate or Director level and looking for a role with influence and long-term opportunity
MRICS, MAPM or other relevant chartership is welcomed but not essential.
