Are you a motivated Building Surveyor with at least two years’ experience, looking to accelerate your career within an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment? This is a rare opportunity to join a newly formed London team within a highly respected property consultancy. You’ll work directly alongside an experienced, dynamic Director-level Building Surveyor with a proven track record of successfully mentoring candidates through their APC to MRICS.
If you’re currently feeling limited in the breadth of exposure you’re receiving or you’re ambitious to progress more quickly this role offers the variety, responsibility, and support needed to truly develop into a well-rounded Chartered Building Surveyor.
You’ll be working across a diverse commercial portfolio, partnering with high-profile brands, major retailers, property funds, and investors, delivering a strong mix of professional and project-led Building Surveying services. This role will particularly suit someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, an individual who wants to help grow a London platform, build lasting client relationships, and take real ownership of their career.
The RoleYou will be involved in a broad range of instructions, including:
- Delivery of professional and project Building Surveying services across commercial property
- Dilapidations (acting for both landlords and tenants)
- Technical Due Diligence and Pre-Acquisition Surveys
- Refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Supporting projects from inception through to completion
- Developing client relationships and contributing to business growth
- Receiving structured, hands-on APC support and mentoring toward MRICS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Building Surveying role
RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
Actively working towards APC or ready to commence
Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially aware
Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine passion for property
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
