The Role
You will operate as a senior leader within the valuation team, delivering across a diverse portfolio while driving growth and maintaining exceptional standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex valuation instructions across commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use assets
- Acting as a trusted advisor to key clients including lenders, developers, and property companies
- Providing strategic oversight and ensuring full compliance with RICS Red Book standards
- Driving business development and identifying new revenue opportunities
- Collaborating with wider business lines including Capital Markets and Agency
- Mentoring and developing junior professionals, building a high-performing team culture
- Delivering clear, insightful valuation reports and presenting advice to clients
- Monitoring market trends and providing informed commentary to clients and stakeholders
- Supporting business planning, team growth, and financial forecasting
About You
You are a commercially minded valuation professional with the credibility and ambition to operate at Director level. You will bring:
- MRICS or FRICS qualification and Registered Valuer status
- Strong experience delivering Red Book Valuations across lending, development, and investment assets
- A proven ability to manage client relationships and win new business
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to property challenges
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-value instructions
- Experience with Argus or KEL is advantageous, but not essential.
