Our client specialises in asset and development management of commercial and mixed-use real estate, with its own in-house management team. The company has particular expertise in restoring and sustainably developing heritage buildings, with an expanding commercial portfolio that currently extends across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
A Senior Facilities Manager is required, based within Manchester city centre, to manage the day-to-day operations of a highly recognised and expanding commercial and mixed-use properties, and ensure that they are not only well-maintained but also compliant with health & safety, and environmental standards. The role includes, but is not limited to co-ordinating and overseeing:
- building maintenance
- contractors
- budgets
- efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- Facilities Management experience, minimum 5 years+
- Relevant professional certifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH essential.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Compliance
- Knowledge of ESG Requirements, Green Building Certifications, NABERS, BREEAM etc
- Experience of service charge budgets, financial management, and contractor relations
- Organisational and interpersonal communication skills
- High levels of attention to detail with M&E knowledge
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work under minimal supervision with tight deadlines
- Experience in managing heritage and mixed-use properties is a strong advantage
- Project Management experience ideal
