Kingsley Napley is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead business development and marketing activity for our Dispute Resolution, Criminal Litigation, Regulatory and Public Law practices. This is a senior, high profile role supporting market leading teams. You’ll act as a trusted adviser to partners and firm leadership, shaping strategy, driving growth initiatives and leading a talented BD & Marketing team in a fast paced, often time critical environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and deliver integrated BD & marketing strategies aligned to firmwide priorities
- Advise partners on commercial planning, go to market strategy and opportunities
- Line manage and develop three BDM Managers
- Oversee major pitches, panels, credentials, directories, and awards submissions
- Provide senior input into campaigns working closely with the central marketing team
- Use market insight, data and client feedback to influence strategy and decision making
What we’re looking for:
- Significant BD & marketing experience within legal preferred
- Proven leadership and line management experience
- Confidence operating at senior partner level as both strategist and delivery lead
- Strong commercial, project management and communication skills
- Calm, resilient and credible in high pressure situations
