Kingsley Napley (KN) is seeking a Revenue Controller to work closely with partners and fee earners across designated departments, ensuring accurate billing, effective debt management, and compliance with SRA and HMRC regulations. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of five, helping to maintain healthy financial performance and client satisfaction.
You will:
- Lead monthly meetings with partners and fee earners to review WIP and unpaid invoices
- Reduce and maintain debt levels in line with firm policy
- Ensure accurate invoice posting and compliance with VAT and Solicitor Account Rules
- Handle billing queries and process credit card payments
- Maintain client matter records, prepare statements, and perform reconciliations
- Escalate potential debt issues and support matter maintenance tasks
- Experience in revenue control, billing, or credit control within a law firm
- Strong knowledge of VAT and SRA Accounts Rules
- Proficiency in Aderant or similar accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
- Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
- IT proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and adaptability to new systems
