Kingsley Napley (KN) is looking to recruit an Associate (0 – 2 PQE) to join our busy and growing Restructuring & Insolvency team. This is a fantastic time to join a consistently top voted firm at a particularly exciting period of growth. Our highly experienced restructuring & insolvency experts have significant experience helping a wide range of businesses and financially distressed clients. Our R&I lawyers work alongside experts from our Corporate, Real Estate, Employment and Dispute Resolution teams, ensuring every client receives a seamless and specialist service.
The successful individual will work on all aspects of the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency offering, alongside a fully complemented team and the Head of R&I – Dan Sejas. Dan is recognised as a Ranked 1 National Leader in insolvency work and specialises in advisory, non-contentious and contentious restructuring insolvency assignments. The successful candidate will see an enormously varied workload of non-contentious and contentious work - acting for insolvency practitioners, corporates, directors, distressed investors, lenders and creditors.
What are we looking for?
- At least one seat in a Restructuring & Insolvency team within the training contract.
- Someone who shows a demonstrable enthusiasm for R&I work and is keen to join an ambitious team – and learn from some of the best.
- An ability to get up to speed quickly on matters and ability to shift focus/direction with competing demands and deadlines.
- A keen interest to broaden their own knowledge and understanding – our team are more than happy to share their expertise and knowledge but we’re looking for someone proactive and eager to learn, who will take the initiative and seize opportunities.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and interest in developing and organising marketing/networking events.
- Someone who takes proactive steps to push forward BD objectives.
