We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Restructuring & Insolvency team.
Working alongside trainees, associates and partners, you will support on a broad range of complex and varied matters, gaining hands-on experience across both contentious and non-contentious insolvency work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop specialist expertise in restructuring and insolvency while gaining responsibility from day one.
You'll be involved in a diverse caseload, supporting on both litigation and transactional matters, with training and mentoring available throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners across a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Conducting legal and factual research.
- Reviewing, analysing and summarising large volumes of documentation.
- Drafting correspondence to clients, counsel, courts and third parties.
- Preparing first drafts of legal documentation
- Assisting with court filings, bundles and e-filing processes.
- Undertaking Companies House and Land Registry searches.
- Attending client meetings, conferences with counsel and court hearings.
- Taking detailed attendance notes.
- Supporting file management and document organisation.
- Acting as a key support resource for fee earners across the team.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate
- Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience in dispute resolution, restructuring and insolvency, or within an insolvency practitioner or accountancy firm.
- Exposure to litigation, dispute resolution, restructuring or insolvency matters.
- Strong drafting, legal research and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- A genuine interest in Restructuring & Insolvency.
