For this role we will be looking for candidates with experience working in a paralegal or legal assistant role within a law firm or at a Regulator. The successful candidate will need to have experience taking and preparing complex witness statements. They will be need to be used to working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and will need to understand the importance of good client care and excellent interpersonal skills in order to gain clients’ confidence.
Our Regulatory team is consistently and independently recognised by Chambers UK and Legal 500 as a leader in the market. You would assist the department in its preparation of cases for the firm’s clients and in particular the Education Workforce Council (EWC), the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA), General Optical Council (GOC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and General Dental Council (GDC).
The role will involve assisting and supporting the other solicitors with their workload. Duties will include taking and preparing complex witness statements and managing witnesses, including vulnerable witnesses. The role will involve producing correspondence, and you will need to complete some administrative tasks and bundling.
Successful applicants will join a large team of administrators, paralegals, barristers, associates and partners, working in a friendly and professional environment. We offer an excellent benefits package and have a flexible/hybrid working model.
