Kingsley Napley is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Case Support Paralegal to join our busy Regulatory Department. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high profile regulatory cases, supporting our team in preparing cases for prestigious clients including the General Dental Council (GDC), Education Workforce Council (EWC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), General Optical Council (GOC), Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA), and Architects Registration Board (ARB).
What you’ll do
- Provide essential support to our fee earners across all aspects of regulatory prosecution case investigation and preparation, as well as some regulatory defence work.
- Preparing legal documents and reporting to clients.
- Case administration, document review and management.
- Contact and witness liaison.
- Sorting, labelling and indexing large volumes of documents.
- Redacting documents and managing confidential information.
- Liaising with third parties to request and receive documents.
- Contacting, researching and liaising with experts.
- Contacting courts to acquire transcripts and evidence.
- Assisting with the preparation of hearing bundles.
- Attending and taking notes of internal and client meetings.
What we’re looking for
- Strong IT skills and experience with MS Office.
- Experience creating and updating spreadsheets/evidence schedules in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent administration and drafting skills with exceptional spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a range of formats (written and verbal), adapting style to different audiences.
- Effective organisation skills, particularly with managing large quantities of documentation.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines, including under pressure.
- Good use of initiative and ability to multitask.
- A 'can do' attitude with motivation and enthusiasm.
