Our highly regarded Private Client team is seeking a full-time Practice Assistant (PA) to support up to 11 fee earners (including Partners, Associates, and Paralegals) in a close-knit, collaborative team. What are we looking for?
- Experience in providing multiple individuals with high‑level administrative support in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
- Experience in Private Client (including Court of Protection) is desirable but not essential – we are open to candidates without this experience.
- A proactive, can-do individual who is reliable and embraces change.
- Someone who is organised, dependable, and able to get through work efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly.
- Comfortable dealing with calls from vulnerable clients and handling sensitive matters with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn processes around Wills, Trusts, and Court of Protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting up to 11 fee earners, including 3 – 4 Partners and a large number of Paralegals.
- Scheduling internal and external meetings for fee earners.
- Scanning, filing, and storing documents securely.
- Mailbox management and general administrative support.
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients, including vulnerable individuals.
- Regular client billing.
- Working closely with one other PA and a Practice Administrative Assistant to ensure smooth team support.
