We are looking for a Financial/ Corporate Crime Associate (5+ PQE)
You will work as part of a growing and ambitious team, advising the firm’s clients on criminal law matters and investigations. Our work includes serious fraud & business crime, financial regulation, internal investigations, white collar crime, sanctions and serious & general crime – meaning an enormously varied and mixed caseload for the successful individual.
A large element of the role will include conducting internal investigations and advising clients, both individuals and corporate clients, during the different stages of an investigation and, where relevant, prosecution, trial or other disposal.
What are we looking for?
- Experience with complex white collar crime cases, internal investigations and financial investigations and ideally police station advice experience and / or FCA enforcement work
- An ability to get up to speed quickly on matters and to shift focus and direction with competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work as a proactive member of a team with clear communication to Partners and all other members of the team on matters
- A demonstrable interest for financial and complex criminal and investigations work – delivering pragmatic and creative solutions to problems
- Excellent organisation, case management skills and financial discipline
- A broader interest in continuous improvement, personal development and innovation– we’re looking for a proactive and ambitious team player with an open ‘growth mindset’ and ability to embrace change
- An enthusiasm around marketing initiatives both internally and externally
