As a Peripatetic Service / Operational Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of care across our Specialist Services. You’ll work closely with our operations team and care home managers to promote excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement across our residential and nursing services.

Note: This role is initially to cover maternity leave, with potential for further opportunities. Reports to: Director / Group Operations Manager

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Leading quality assurance initiatives across our Specialist Services
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with CQC and company standards
  • Supporting care home managers with operational guidance and service development
  • Delivering training and development programs to promote best practice and continuous learning
  • Championing service user satisfaction through person-centred care and family engagement
  • Monitoring and responding to incidents, complaints, and regulatory feedback
  • Collaborating on policy development and ethical practice with the wider operations team

Skills and attributes

  • Proven experience in a similar healthcare or care home management role
  • Excellent knowledge of learning disabilities and associated complex needs
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
