Job Description
Telecoms Lawyer – Complex Contracts/Networks (10+ PQE) – High-Impact Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Telecoms Lawyer with networks experience to join a newly created dynamic and fast-paced legal team within a high-profile communications and technology business. Known for its influence in the telecoms space, this company has been at the forefront of mobile and digital transformation for decades.
This is a key strategic role, supporting the GC, Investment direct and wider investment team in drafting, negotiating and managing complex long term contracts.
The role will include:
- Providing expert commercial legal advice and strategic business partnering in relation to international entities
- Drafting complex Network Schedules
- Advising board directors and senior business stakeholders on complex contractual matters, ensuring contractual compliance
- Leading transformation initiatives to improve operational excellence, enable growth, and support key business objectives
- Managing the business’s interests in its Joint Ventures and non-wholly owned assets

Experience Required Includes:
✅ A commercial lawyer with at least 10 years PQE, experienced in drafting and negotiating high-value, complex telecoms contracts
✅ Must have knowledge of networks contracts
✅ Strong drafting and negotiating experience, with the ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast-moving industry
✅ Proven ability to give specialist advice to commercial colleagues, driving decisions and resolving complex, strategically important issues
✅ Deep understanding of commercial and technology law
✅ Ability to advise board-level stakeholders and lead change initiatives
