An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Funds Lawyer to join the legal team of a highly regarded investment management business on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.
Working closely with the General Counsel, you will advise on a broad range of funds, corporate and investment management matters, partnering with the Board and senior leadership team on strategic legal issues.

Key responsibilities
- Advising on fund structures, investment vehicles, joint ventures and corporate governance matters.
- Supporting corporate transactions, financing arrangements and subsidiary oversight.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and investment-related documentation.
- Managing external legal advisers and overseeing legal risk and governance.
- Supporting company secretarial matters and the execution of legal documentation.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and delivering commercially focused legal advice.
About you
- You will be a qualified lawyer with experience in corporate and funds law, gained in private practice or in-house, with a strong understanding of investment structures and investment management.
- Experience advising on corporate transactions and fund structures.
- A commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgement, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with an experienced and supportive General Counsel while gaining regular exposure to the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
