In-House Legal Counsel (Immediately Available)

Title: Legal Counsel – Commercial / Corporate / Tech | PE-Backed, IPO-Track

Location: Hybrid | UK-based

Contract: 10–12 Month FTC (potential to extend or go permanent)

The Opportunity:

We’re working with a PE-backed, consumer-driven business preparing for an IPO. They’re seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join on an interim basis and immediately add value across a wide spectrum of legal work. You’ll support three major brands, and work directly with a small, high-performing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an agile, commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
• Supporting IPO readiness and M&A activities
• Handling contentious matters in-house
• Advising on Co sec and corporate governance
• Working across IP, tech, and software licensing matters
• Managing legal support for three distinct consumer-facing brands

Ideal Background:

• 3–6 years PQE with in-house experience in consumer, tech, software, or similar industries
• Strong generalist legal skill set: commercial, corporate, IP, and/or disputes
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a lean team
• PE-backed or IPO-track business experience a strong plus
• Available immediately or at short notice
