Job Description
Are you a seasoned Commercial Property Lawyer (10+ PQE) with significant landlord and tenant experience looking for a strategic in-house role where you can make a real impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive in house legal team, advising on a broad range of real estate matters, with a focus on tenant, across a large commercial property portfolio.
The Role:
You will work closely with the Group Legal Estates Director, providing expert advice on all aspects of commercial property law, including:
- Lease acquisitions, renewals, variations, and disposals
- Managing a diverse property portfolio, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Acting on applications for consent, assignments, underletting, and alterations
- Advising on wayleave agreements, exclusivity arrangements, and property-related contracts
- Supporting business growth by securing new sites on the most advantageous terms
- Minimising costs and risks associated with surplus properties and dilapidations

This role is ideal for an experienced commercial property solicitor, with significant Landlord and Tenant experience, who is able to deal with a high number of files and thrives in a dynamic team environment. The role involves a broad range of matters and they are happy to consider someone directly from private practice. and there are no targets or billable hours. The office is based North East of London but there is only a requirement to be there once every week or fortnight after the initial settling in period.
