We are thrilled to be partnering with a global powerhouse brand to hire a dynamic Marketing Lawyer to join their high-performing legal team in London. This is a standout opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who thrives at the intersection of marketing, brand, and IP, and wants to work shoulder-to-shoulder with creative and commercial teams on high-visibility campaigns.

The Role: You will be the go-to legal partner for marketing and brand teams, advising on a wide range of innovative, fast-paced campaigns across multiple jurisdictions. Expect to be embedded in the business, shaping strategy while protecting and enhancing the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise marketing, digital, and brand teams on campaign execution, promotions, and advertising compliance
  • Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property, including brand protection, licensing, and content use
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements (agency, influencer, sponsorship, content, and media deals)
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to enable creative, compliant, and commercially effective marketing initiatives
  • Navigate global campaigns, ensuring alignment with local legal and regulatory frameworks

Candidate skills required:

  • 5–7 years’ PQE with strong private practice training at a reputable firm or Global brand
  • Proven in-house experience, ideally working closely with marketing or brand teams
  • Deep understanding of IP law and its application in a commercial, brand-led environment
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
  • Confident communicator, able to influence and build trust with non-legal stakeholders
  • Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional environment is a strong plus
