Senior Legal Counsel – Media
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial lawyer to join a leading global media organisation's in-house legal team
This role offers the chance to work on high-value, complex commercial matters across international markets, partnering closely with business, client, and agency teams. You'll provide practical, strategic legal advice while leading contract negotiations in a fast-paced and innovative environment
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of complex commercial agreements.
- Support client-facing teams on commercial transactions and new business opportunities.
- Provide guidance on advertising, data privacy, AI, intellectual property, and related legal issues.
- Develop practical legal tools, templates, and training materials.
- Advise on legal and compliance risks and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
About you
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 6+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial contracts experience gained in-house or in private practice.
- Sound knowledge of contract law, data privacy, intellectual property, and emerging AI regulations. Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment. Fluent English communication skills
