Our client, a fast-growing and highly successful financial services organisation, is seeking an ambitious Company Secretarial Assistant to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a company secretarial professional who is looking to broaden their experience, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and play a meaningful role within a dynamic and evolving business.
Working closely with the General Counsel, you will be given genuine responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of governance initiatives and strategic projects. As Company Secretarial Assistant, you will be a trusted member of the governance team, supporting the Board and Committees while helping to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of Board and Committee meetings
- Preparing agendas, papers and minutes
- Maintaining statutory records and governance documentation
- Supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of governance frameworks
- Liaising with shareholders, regulators and external advisers where required
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Assisting with corporate transactions, governance projects and business initiatives
Qualifications:
- Be CGI qualified or working towards qualification
- Possess a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practice
- Be commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly
- Have excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
