We are working with a highly dynamic, fast-moving consumer business based in West London who are seeking a Legal Counsel (5-7 years PQE) to join its in-house legal team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering genuinely varied work in a fast-paced B2C environment, with close exposure to commercial decision-making across the business.
The Role:
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, the Legal Counsel will provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across a wide range of matters, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, distribution, marketing, advertising, sponsorship and technology contracts.
- Advising on UK consumer law, including product launches, pricing, promotions, advertising and customer-facing terms and conditions.
- Partnering with marketing, product, digital and commercial teams to support new initiatives and campaigns.
- Supporting data protection and privacy matters (GDPR).
- Managing external legal advisers where required.
- Assisting with general corporate, governance and day-to-day legal matters.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of legal processes and templates within a growing in-house function.
