Our client is looking for a skilled mid-level Commercial/Technology Lawyer to join their dynamic European legal team based in London. Reporting to the Head of the Legal Transactions Team, this role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex technology transactions across both the public and private sectors.
You will advise on matters including outsourcing, systems development, cloud computing, software licensing, and large-scale hardware procurement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- A qualified lawyer with approximately 3-6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE is a guide only; all strong applicants will be considered)
- Confident in leading and managing multiple transactions and teams
- Commercially astute with a strong interest in technology and innovation
- Experienced in commercial or technology outsourcing, ideally within the tech sector
- A strong communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Passionate about mentoring and developing junior team members
- From a solid academic background and trained at a reputable law firm/in-house business
- Comfortable operating in a multinational environment or an international legal practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on, drafting, negotiating, and managing complex technology contracts
- Supporting high-value digital transformation and cross-sector projects
- Collaborating with global teams across sales, legal, commercial, and delivery functions
- Handling legal matters involving IT/data licensing, cloud services, software development, AI, robotics, SaaS/PaaS, and more
Location: London-based, with flexible remote working (minimum two/three days per week in the office)
