SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL
INTERIM - 6 MONTHS

A leading technology‑driven business operating within a regulated environment is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team on an initial 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with an immediate or short‑notice start preferred. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a broad commercial role supporting a range of complex matters including technology agreements, data privacy, intellectual property, licensing and strategic business projects. The role offers significant stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to provide practical, commercially focused advice across a dynamic and evolving organisation.
Responsibilities
- Support a range of complex commercial matters, including technology agreements, data privacy, intellectual property, licensing and strategic business projects.
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Approximately 8+ years of post‑qualification experience.
- Strong commercial contracting experience.
- Excellent data protection expertise.
- Experience within technology, fintech, SaaS or other regulated environments is advantageous.
- Coaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
The position offers a highly flexible working model, with predominantly remote work and occasional office attendance (typically one or two days per month). The business seeks candidates available to start at short notice.
